Guided Meditation: Mindfulness of Breath
One of the most foundational elements of mindfulness meditation is a practice of Mindfulness of Breath. We practice turning our attention to to the feeling of our breath entering our body and leaving our body.
That’s it!
No need to breathe in any special way; your body knows exactly how to breathe. Every time your attention gets pulled away - to a sound, a thought, a worry - you simply and gently begin again. Connecting to this simple, but quite awesome, experience of breathing.
Nothing to do. Nothing to achieve. Nothing to strive for.
You can simply rest in the natural rising and falling of your breath.
