Mindfulness Monthlies @ Lifeline
Mindfulness Monthlies are a once-a month topical session offered for those who have completed the six-week introductory mindfulness class at Lifeline. You can pick & choose as you like, however, registration is required.
If you have interest and are unable to attend due to a schedule conflict, the session will be recorded and will be available for registrants to watch after the fact.
February Session:
How Can the Cushion Become a Habit?
How’s your meditation practice going? If you are like many of us, it’s hard to develop an ongoing sustainable practice - even though we want to, we can find lots of reasons not to.
In this session, we will discuss barriers and explore ways that your practice can develop some momentum.
And for those that need additional motivation, we’ll review all the physical, mental and emotional benefits that come from a sustained practice.
Leave the judgment at the door and recognize this is hard work! If you’d like to recommit to a formal practice in 2023 (however that looks for you), I’d welcome you to join us!

March Session
Micro Practices for On the Go Support
Yeah, yeah, I get the meditation thing. But what am I supposed to do IN THE MOMENT when i’m about to lose it? When I’m stewing in the muck? When I'm in a really heated conversation?
In this session, I will introduce a few “micro practices” - some of which you may know, some of which you may not. The focus will be on integrating. How can these practices, for each of you, give you a moment of pause, a moment of space, a moment of collection when otherwise you may be caught up in your thoughts.

Do you ever feel like you are ping-ponging between different reactions and emotions? Or do something and later regret it? Our conditioned grooves are deep!
The good news is that we can grow our ability to develop the critical pause - the moment where we respond from a place of wisdom, rather than act out of knee jerk reactions.

Unlocking Joy in the Outdoors
As spring unfolds, there is beauty around us to see, savor and fuel us - if only we take a few moments to be present to it. Nature can be a wonderful place to see the reality of the changing seasons of life and gives us many opportunities to connect in wonder and awe.
In this session, we’ll be using the outdoors as a place to celebrate our senses and tap into the wonder that surrounds us when we notice it.
